SGX2000E MIDI-Out
The MIDI Out menu option supports the following operations:
- The "Send buffer to MIDI out" option transmits the contents of the Message Buffer to the currently selected MIDI Output
device.
- The "Transmit on channel..." item allows you to communicate on a specific
MIDI channel. The SGX2000 uses channel 1 by default but you may use channel 1
thru 16. You would normally do this only if you needed to communicate to
another device on channel 1. WARNING! You must configure the SGX2000 to use
the same channel as the one you have selected here. Note that your selection
will be stored in the Windows Registry. If you subsequently change your setting
on the SGX2000, remember to update your selection here accordingly.
- The remainder of the menu lists all the valid MIDI output devices installed
on your computer. If no devices are shown you need to review the documentation
for your sound card, MIDI interface card, etc. for proper installation.
Otherwise select from the devices listed the one which you want to send MIDI
data to. Note that this selection will be stored in the Windows Registry
upon exiting and will then be automatically selected the next time you run the
SGX2000E utility.
